The Chamber's Annual Welcome New Teachers Luncheon for the Nixa School District's new teachers & administrators.  This is our General Membership Luncheon for August.     (No luncheon will be held on Aug. 8)
 
Don't miss your opportunity to welcome the newest members of our education community and welcome back to school our current administrators.
 
Ways you can participate:
1. Attend the luncheon: $20 buys lunch for yourself and one of our guests. Guests include new teachers, administrators, building principals, assistant principals and school board members. 
 
2. Contribute an item for the welcome gift bags for each new teacher.  Bring items by The Chamber by Wednesday, July 28 (i.e. promotional items, brochures, specials, businesses cards) 60 new teachers and current administrators.
 
3. Donate a Business Centerpiece: Business baskets to be given to school new teacher staff by a drawing. Interested? Give us a call and we can give you some ideas. Use other chamber businesses products in your basket if you don't have something...be creative!  
We need 35 centerpieces.
 
We will NOT be doing door prizes as usual.  Door prizes will given to new teachers only.

General Membership Luncheons are generally the 2nd Tuesday of each month.  However, to welcome new teachers before the school year begins, we move the August GML to the first Tuesday.  There will NOT be a GML meeting during the regular time on the second Tuesday of August.
